Another Sucessful Year ends with a sucessful Awards Night
Many new names were amoung the voting when the Lars Hagberg medal was up for grabs at the 2009 Season awards night. In traditional Brownlow medal style, the umpire voting for the Best and Fairest player in the SAFF Premiership season we the highlight of the night held at the Liffey in Gamla Stan. Solna Axemen backman Brendan Egan won the Non-Australian category after dominating the votes towards the end of the season fininshing with 11 votes. Arsta Ruckman Daniel Koiberg was a worthy runner up with 9 votes. The Australian player category was topped with Arsta players and Mark McManus winning the medal and Thor Brintley coming in second. Bromma forward Mike Robbel was the other major award winner on the night taking out the leading goal kicker award.
